We offer educational groups to help families meet Department of Child Services requirements, meeting virtually once a week at various times. Participants are assigned to groups based on their gender identity to ensure safe and supportive environments for healing.

For Women (She/Her)-
Beyond Trauma: "A Healing Journey for Women," by Stephanie Covington, is a 12-week program designed to help women heal from past traumas. It combines cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness practices in a supportive environment led by trained facilitators. Participants gain valuable tools to overcome trauma, fostering resilience and empowering them to lead healthier lives. A referral from the Department of Child Services is required to join.
Seeking Safety curriculum: This structured program helps individuals facing trauma and substance abuse establish safety in their lives. It provides coping skills and strategies to promote stability and reduce the negative impacts of trauma and addiction. Participants engage in a supportive group environment, learning from each other and receiving guidance from trained facilitators. By focusing on safety and empowerment, the program aids individuals in building resilience for a healthier, more stable future.
For Men (He/Him):
Building Resilience: A Domestic Violence Education for Men" by Stephanie Covington is a program for men involved in domestic violence. It provides education on understanding abusive behavior and promotes healthy relationship skills. Participants learn about the root causes of violence and develop strategies for resilience and positive change, allowing them to break the cycle of violence and build healthier, non-violent relationships.
For They/Them:
Understanding and Transforming Behavior: A Domestic Violence Group Therapy Program for LGBTQ+ that is a specialized curriculum designed to address the complexities of domestic violence across diverse gender identities, including binary and non-binary individuals within the LGBTQ+ community. This program offers comprehensive psychoeducation on recognizing, understanding, and changing abusive behaviors while promoting skills essential for healthy relationships. Through structured sessions led by experienced facilitators, participants explore the underlying causes of violence and learn effective strategies to build resilience and enact positive life changes. By participating in this program, individuals have the opportunity to interrupt the cycle of violence, enhance self-awareness, and establish healthier, non-violent relationships. Insurance is accepted for the group.
